The Learning Portal

Every sheet your class needs,
built from the skill they need it for.

Practice built for any skill a child is stuck on, cards for the front of the room, and a class screened on any day. Licensed for each student for the school year.

The whole vocabulary

138 skills,
named and separable

Every one of them can be taught, practiced, assessed and reported on its own. That is what makes “behind in reading” into a sentence a teacher can act on.

Counted from the skill selector, so this is what a teacher can pick today.

  • Spelling — 54 skills
  • Suffixes — 29 skills
  • Vowels — 17 skills
  • Syllable Types — 16 skills
  • Prefixes — 12 skills

How It Is Licensed

Discenda is licensed per student, per school year, and the school year follows your calendar: your school sets the date its year ends, in either the Northern or Southern Hemisphere, and the license runs through that date. The break between years gives your school time to set up classes, add teachers, and prepare before the new year begins.

There is a 10-student minimum. Schools can purchase seats upfront and assign them to students as they are added throughout the year.

Licenses do not automatically renew unless automatic renewal is turned on. If you cancel automatic renewal, your access will continue through the end of the school year you already paid for.
